Ascent Trip ReportThis peak is an easy drive-up. The dirt road to the summit would be OK for most cars--it's a bit steep and rocky but generally well maintained. The summit is a pretty ugly mess of antennas and other communications facilities. One must walk the perimeter to get all the views, and for us the smoke from forest fires obscured most of the vistas anyway. The picnic table was collapsed, too.
High-prominence peaks in western Canada are a generally tough lot to climb, so the rare drive-up is a bonus we were all to happy to take.
