Ascent Trip ReportTwo day trip to climb Tokaloo Rock, Andrew Benchmark and Aurora Peak. Walked up the West Side Road stopping occasionally to watch the eclipse. Took South Puyallup trail to the Wonderland, then climbed up into St Andrews Park. Camped at the high point on the wooded ridge above St Andrews Lake (nice large site for a couple of tents). Climbed Tokaloo Rock and Andrew Benchmark in the morning. Packed up camp, stashed our packs off the Wonderland and hiked up Aurora. Great weather, but hazy from wildfires. |
