Ascent Trip ReportNext up while travelling south along Genoa Peak Rd. was South Camp Peak. We had to stop & study the map a couple times to figure out where we were, but finally managed to find a good spot & made short work of the hike. The trickiest part of the whole thing, as mentioned by Dean Gaudet, was figuring out which rock outcrop was the actual highpoint. It was almost like the plates on the back of that dinosaur - what was it - the "stegosaurus", maybe? |
