Ascent of Mont Ells on 2017-08-10Date: | Thursday, August 10, 2017 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Mont Ells | Location: | Canada-Québec | Elevation: | 3248 ft / 989 m |
Ascent Trip ReportAs a part of our Gaspésie National Park crossing, we did the ascent of Mont Ells from Cascapédia Lake side (starting elevation ~500M) we passed besides the Alain Potvin Lake at Elev. 900 meters (Mr. Potvin died with his climbing partners during the ascent of Mount McKinley). So we stopped there to give him our rest in peace thoughts. The ascent is really steep in the beginning and gets easier as we progress to the top but parts of it were still pretty steep still. |
