Ascent Trip ReportA short easy very popular hike with outstanding views. The USA border is a stones throw away to the south.
From hwy #141 west of Coaticook (south of Sherbrooke) find you way to Baldwin Mills and Lake Lyster. Just before you get to Baldwin Mills turn left on Chemin May (sign points to "Mont Pinacle") and drive a short distance to a parking for "Parc Harold F Baldwin" on the left .... its just past the church besides the fire station "Caserne".
Walk up Chemin May about 200 yards to the signed TH on the right. Super views to the West, the lake side of the mountain is a rock climbing destination. There is a geodetic survey marker 20 feet beyond the actual high point.
From here we drove to Brousseau and Averill in VT, then on to NH's Magalloway.
