Ascent Trip Report***Private Outing***
Just me, Tanya and Maya. Via the standard HPS route 1. The road in is okay, high clearance was nice to have, and we parked at the bottom of a pretty intense 4WD portion of the road (4WD as in a "rock crawler" vehicle advised)and then walked the road from there to the "trail". Use trail is faint to vague to absent, but abundant cairns mark the route nearly all the way to the summit. One section in about the middle of the climb is absent ducks due to several large treefalls and washouts, but if you stay on the same general course you've been on you'll get past this section and will get back into the ducked route.
Really a nice hike, much better when it's cool out. Like in the late Fall, winter, early spring.
