Ascent Trip ReportGlacier travel was generally straight-forward with mostly exposed ice, but rotten snow and weak snow bridges when the glacier was covered. We had two punch-throughs on the sections where we opted to rope up. Gaining the ridge was more challenging so late in the season. We took a "C" shaped gully with a left fork up to the ridge. The rock was about 5.6 rock climbing with decent protection but with many holds that crumbled and lots of loose pebbles covering polished rock. The ridge was fun scrambling/easy 5th class, exposed but very easy. We started about a mile from Serenity Falls Hut, cached sleeping bags at the confluence of the two glaciers and ended at Pitchlers Perch Hut.
