Ascent Trip Reporti followed kathy wing's track: she parked in a convenient location. however right at the start of the trail was a little sign and some pink and yellow ribbons, the sign indicated that the ribbons were for an upcoming ultramarathon "please don't disturb them". i ended up following the ribbons the whole way to the summit, they seemed to be placed along the most obvious use trail. it's all open country though, you could go whichever way you want.
nice views. baldy and belknap looked really nice, worthy of a future visit.
