Ascent Trip Report

Great trip, but expensive. Probably $40 in tolls, $10 to park, and $15 for tram which took us from about 1380 elevation to 2305 elevation. (Tram elevation gain not included). The trail was pretty brutal and it didn't help carrying a loaded back pack, Sarah, and Christina. I got lots of looks from the hundreds of Japanese on the trail, apparently the mountain is famous. It had several shrines on the summit and a small window restaurant. We had three pieces of Sushi and a can of beer for $9.
