Ascent Trip Report

Started at 1AM and got to the summit at around 7-8AM. Left, and went downhill and came back to camp at 1PM. It was a long day, and then we had to walk back to our first camp. Towards the end, within 1 hr and 20 min left of the hike, I had drank all 3 liters of my water and needed more. Some porters went to get some juice and quickly came to me when I was thirsty. This was the most challenging hike I had done with having to side-step while climbing rocks and holding onto the chains.

Very nice rainforest.

Enjoyed seeing Rhino Point and the ash cone.
