The northside TH is on the southside of hwy #126, 2.3mi west of Center Strafford hwy junction #126/202A, small parking area is available, posted "Spencer Smith Trail".

The wide trail steepens as it nears the top of the ridge, when it starts to level-out look for a herd path on the right ..... it leads a few hundred feet to a summit at elev 1326', it's a worth visiting just to see the numerous failed attempts to build an "inukshuk".
Continue on the ridge to the ridge's High Point, return the same way, the trail continues down to Bow lake.
