Ascent Trip Report

TH to "Archie": 2.2mi, 1940ft gain (220 extra)
Basically no trail from initial dip up to 10330msl, where I turned NE to follow very very narrow gametrail, sometimes just sporadic hoofprints from a couple animals. It crossed many narrow scree lanes, where it was usually more apparent. 2nd half of this part, my track is about 10ft to the right (uphill). Sounds useless, but surprisingly it was enough to not feel like a sidehill, and I gradually gained the ridge where I wanted. If you don't think you can follow it, you're better off just continuing straight up to gain the ridge just left of some outcrops.
On the main ridge, the first little knob can be bypassed on the east side, but the bigger and last set you want to stay near the top, again on the east side. (That's where my scramble was, after mistakenly trying the west side.) On my return, I tried to stay low to bypass Pk10675, and it was horrible; hardpack dirt & pebbles so steep I could barely stand on it.
On the final climb, zigzagged thinking I'd find something helpful, but better to just go about direct.
