Ascent Trip Report50-55' with a strong wind at the top. Ice from prior evening freeze on pines at 4000'. Started out cloudy and windy in the morning but skies opened up by 12pm. Hiked with some folks from Amesbury, MA. then at top of Flume met two others from, where else, Amesbury, MA. go figure... Did the Flume Slide up and came down Liberty Springs. Had lunch at AT campsite on LS trail. Gave caretaker a choc chip cookie, baked fresh. Thought he died and went to heaven form that. It was nice to see him so happy. |
