Ascent Trip ReportMade it from the old bus turnaround to the peak via climbers trail in 2:15.
40 pound bag.
I'm thinking I can actually get this in under 2 hours without running or jogging.
Not posting asscent gpx.
On top I decided to try and bag Blowdown and Si. Took the traverse west, across the ridge. Relised I didn't have a headlamp and skipped Blowdown and went straight to Si. Found 3 piles of hours old bear poop looked like momma and some cubs.
Desended off haystack down the main trail, then hooked up with the talus trail. Turned on the old logging road back to the bus turnaround.
There is a lot of toilet paper on that mount si trail. It's kinda gross..

The total loop cost me 6 hours 15 min. I did take my sweet time on the traverse though. |
