Ascent Trip Report

We chose to take the Easton glacier route so we could get a view of the San Juan Islands while we climbed. So glad that we did. The glacier was in excellent condition, even with all of the hot weather that we have been having lately. The climb itself was straight forward, and though there was a a lot of other climbers, there was still plenty of room to move around and pass others.

We left camp at around 6500' on railroad grade around 2:00 am and made the summit by 6:30. Couldn't have asked for a better day out on one of Washington's crown jewels.
