| Elevation:||8077 ft / 2461 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI approached this peak from the Kinsley mountain road that loops around to the east side of the mountain.
This section of the Goshute Range is quite heavily forested in pinion and juniper pines. Using intermittent wild horse trails,I was able to reach the summit in 2 hours and 30 minutes. With the peak UTM datum and the peakbagger app, I used my phone to pinpoint the summit cairn.
Views were somewhat obscured with wild fire smoke but I could make out 12,000 foot Ibapah in the Deep Creek Range.
With only four names in the summit register-glass jar and a red tin can (photo below), White Horse Mountain is not often visited.
