Ascent Trip ReportWe spent more time driving to this mountain than we did on the actual mountain. Took the short trail up (East trail). On the way up we had passed a couple who had just finished repainting the interior of the fire tower to cover up graffiti. Made it to the summit in 26 minutes. It was calm enough on top that I was able to fully climb up the fire tower. This is the first one that I've actually managed to drag myself up. There's also an old caretakers cabin on the summit that has been ruined by years of graffiti. Didn't have a good feeling there so we left quickly. Took the long trail down (North trail). This trail was undeniably steeper than the other one and was much more muddy. Had to use careful footing to avoid slipping. It only took 41 minutes for us to reach the trailhead.
