Ascent Trip ReportWe hit Eddy at just about the point in this season when it became easily accessible. We had just a little bit of snow to deal with, and only a tiny bit of it was steep at all. It was a glorious walk, which holds out views of Shasta as a reward but does not provide them until the very end. The trails were well-maintained but not crowded (at least not this time of year). It was perfectly pleasant in every way, except the sunburn I caught on my legs from the snow. Oh well.
