Ascent Trip ReportI used this address:
454 Quarry Road Honey Brook, PA 19344
I parked on the side of the road in the big open area right before the gates of the mine. I then walked back quarry road for ~.75 miles. I then walked past the large stones blocking the road down the grass road up to a drive way labeled 527 on a red sign. I took this lane up to the strip mine. I walked over to the highpoint on the northeast side of the mine and took some pictures. The original highpoint is gone as has been documented in previous trip reports. I walked back into the woods some and found a road that continued along the ridge line. I walked down it for ~.5 miles till it started to descend. I then turned around and made my way back to my car. The pictures in the tree from the highpoint over the mine were great.
