Ascent Trip Report

Sierra Club WTC Experience Trip Led by Matt Hengst, assist: Ross Doering
Day 1: 8:00am start at Kennedy Meadows Trailhead, PCT across the Kern on the bridge, after PCT crossing of Crag Creek we went cross country to Clover Meadows, stashed our packs and headed up climb "USGS Crag" (the peak labeled on the USGS Quads as opposed to "SPS Crag").
Returned to packs and took PCT to Beck Meadow where just after dark Matt found an excellent campsite on a low ridge to the West. Total 13 1/2 miles, 4,575' gain.
