Ascent Trip Report

Ascended via the next valley east of Ken Jones GPS track while descnding the ridge he took. High Clearance 4x4 required for this lightly used road that ends a bit below his startingpoint. However the corkscrewing route I took around to the east was full of Whitebark pines and open, but not rocky talussy terrain as the NW side is and I would recommend it more than that route, though a loop can easily be made. No register on top, just an old helio station. Fantastic views of Bell, Diamand and the Lost River Range. A great easy day after the NW ridge of Brietenbach the day before. Love the warm springs as well.
