Ascent Trip ReportA nice, quick morning hike. Just a little over an hour up and back. Had the summit to myself, except for all the bugs. There were some muddy spots, but otherwise trail was in good shape. Only saw 3 other hikers. If you are looking for a quick hike with rewarding views and not a lot of company this is a good one. Trailhead is a few minutes from downtown Saranac Lake and is one of the mountains required for the Saranac 6er's.
