Ascent Trip Report

No LiDAR required for this one, but I did run it. The highest point is the single contour already identified. I pulled up to the farm house directly east of the highpoint when a man walked out of one of the out buildings. He was pretty suspicious of me, but when I told him I wanted to go to the highpoint he reluctantly said I could, but I'd have to walk because the field was just planted with corn. I headed west past the buildings and tried to avoid stepping on the planted rows, although nothing was coming up yet. The rise in the field was obvious and pretty dramatic compared to most other COHPs in Iowa. I could see Carroll COHP to the south which I had done last year. I waited on Crawford because no one was home the first time I visited. LiDAR results are below:
