Ascent Trip Report

ever since i looked at this peak on the list i've been annoyed by it: the only way to visit it requires ascending baden-powell twice. baden-powell is an awesome peak, it's worth a visit... but if you're working on HPS you're forced to do something undesirable: descend 2000' to a bump with limited views, and reascend baden-powell on your way out.

we used a car shuttle so that we could start at dawson saddle, and end at vincent gap. while this offered some variety on the way out, we were pretty bored with the long long PCT descent down to vincent gap. it may actually be better to just out/back this from dawson saddle (with or without throop and burnham).
