Ascent Trip Report

After the Ikego Friendship celebration, and quick vehicle tour of the installation, we headed about 1.5 miles down the road to bag this quick summit prior to dinner. Initially we started out on a trailhead shown on the global topi map that did not go. Apparently there was evidence of a previous trail there but it was way to overgrown and the wife was not having it. Luckily there was another trailhead just down the road. With some Buddha statues at the start to see us off, we quickly knocked out the 400 foot gain in .25ish miles to the broad and wooded summit. No views to be had but happy to be out in nature. Carried the two youngest for a nice workout. After we parked the car back on base and walked to Red Door Ramen, for a very good meal, the best ramen we've had in country, from about six establishments thus far.
