Ascent Trip ReportFollowed Matthias Stender's excellent directions on SummitPost.org: http://www.summitpost.org/mountain/991005
The unmaintained trail from the King of Lead Mine road to the SW Ridge is gradually disappearing, but was marked with aging orange flagging tape. It would be helpful for future climbers following this route to augment the flagging tape to keep the unmaintained trail well traveled.
On the upper ridge we generally stayed on the north side of the rock formations following the faint use trail. We traversed south around one of the rocks on the ascent but that was unnecessary.
