Ascent Trip Report

After coming down from sommet de Moncton and its south summit, our path brought us close to the northern bump. Since we were so close-by, I convinced Serge to make a quick detour to put a waypoint down in the GPS at the high point. The summit was surprisingly open and easy to spot and it wasn't long before we were back on our descent. After reaching the logging road, past the harvester ruts, we descended at a brisk pace and reached our trailhead where we dumped our gear in the trunk and took the roads towards our second trailhead.
