Ascent of Mount Aylmer on 2015-06-07Date: | Sunday, June 7, 2015 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Mount Aylmer | Location: | Canada-Alberta | Elevation: | 10374 ft / 3161 m |
Ascent Trip ReportClass 3+.
The route I took was directly up the ridge to the summit. This required a class 3+ down climb. This can be bypassed by traversing around the south side of the sub summit. The easier option is described in Alan Kane’s scramble guide and is class 2 at most. |
