Ascent Trip Report

Frank and I walked in on hardpack and ice. A week later- chest deep blizzard!
We were facebook live at Marcy Dam. Then we went to Av Pass, Lake Colden, and the interior outpost and spoke with the caretaker for a long long time... too long! here's some video of our hike. https://youtu.be/NosyAKlxpZY
We took a long time to summit- the last 2000 feet of trail to the summit took me a long time and my heart rate was major.
But, we stopped on top, got a bite, water, and headed back.
We got cold at the interior outpost when we stopped to gear up. Our feet hurt.
And for poor Frank, the last mile was torture on his feet.
I have a little fat, he dosnt have any.

Poor skiinny weirdo.
