Ascent Trip Report

2nd time for this one. This time from the east side. Generally non-stop scrambling once inside the canyon.

We used ropes to assist climbing 2 sections of the gully directly S of the summit, and then again at the summit block. Good climbers can handle all 3 parts without a rope, but it helped move the group safely and quickly.

On the way down, diverted to climb "The Facade", a 50-ft tall mound of sandstone about 400-ft SW of the Hollow Rock summit.

The circle is misplaced near the closed contour that our group called "The Façade". The Hollow Rock Pk is at the NE-most extension of my GPS track.
