Ascent Trip Report

The view of St Michael's Mount from Newlyn is classed as one of England's 100 best views in the book of that title by Simon Jenkins. Linked to the mainland by a tidal causeway: we arrived by boat and left on foot. One of many hills in north-west Europe with a church dedicated to St Michael, archangel and slayer of pagan deities.
