Ascent Trip Report

As far as I can tell, Mitchell Hill is on DNR land as confirmed by the sign on the gate (though I do have one map suggesting that the property is King County forestland, and another sign on the gate refers to an electronic tower and forbids trespass - my route does not go near a tower, and I don't think the "No Trespassing" applies to walking the woods roads). Do your own research to be certain, but I saw the DNR sign and figured if I hung my Discover Pass in my truck I was okay. (I also assumed the signage along 308th after the "End of County Road" sign applied to the land alongside the road, and that the paved road to the DNR-signed gate was okay.)

It's a very short hike to a not very interesting peak, but it is a "summit" (P300). My GPS track should give you pretty much all you need to know. Except for the little loop at the end, where I wandered the summit ridge touching possible highest points, the route is on old forest roads.
