Ascent Trip ReportThis may be an urban high point but you can turn it into a decent little walk. In fact, that's probably the easiest way to do it unless you live on and have a car on Staten Island. Took the ferry from Manhattan, train to the Dongan Hills stop, walked from there. Not much at the high point.. a couple of junked cars in the woods next to a transfer station or cell tower or something. The surrounding area looks to be pretty upscale but definitely lacks sidewalks and basic courtesy while driving. Area immediately around high point probably quite thorny in summer.
