Ascent Trip ReportI Parked a few hundred feet South on 183 Since there were a few NO PARKING signs by the gate at the trail. There was, however, one car at the gate, and two close to where I parked. The trail was quite muddy in spots to begin with, but eventually dried out. It was a very flat hike all the way and I was able to jog most of it. the trail was easily followed, but the turn to the CoHP was not clearly marked. Nothing more that a few rocky spots to contend with on the trail, and the summit was pretty much a pile of broken granite. Didn't see any hikers until I was all the way back to the car, where I passed one guy who was just starting. |
