Ascent Trip ReportClimb Bison Pk., HP of the Tarryall Mountains. I headed out on US 285, over Kenosha Pass to Jefferson, then down Tarryall Creek to Tarryall Campground and Ute Creek trailhead. I fled mosquitoes at the trailhead at 10:32 a.m. I stopped for a drink of water every 250 paces or so, and got on top of Bison Peak, 12431 ft., at 2:14 p.m., about 3600 ft. of gain. There are scattered interesting rock formations on top.
I was back down at the trailhead at 5:10 p.m.
