Ascent Trip Report

Sept 4 1990 Tuesday. I went up the unnamed 13674 ft peak. I didn't feel very ambitious or accomplished. It is a walkup, but requires a traverse across steep talus. One six foot wide stretch was moving, slowly, downhill on its own. The register had been put up in Aug 1983 by Jim Gehres, who mis-labeled the register. Someone later corrected it. Bob Martin signed in in 1984. It had two names in 1984 and two names in 1985. Then following publication of Colorado Highest Thirteeners by Garrett and Martin the register carries 20 names a year since 1986. After my descent I hiked out, canceled the rest of my vacation and headed home.
