Ascent Trip Report

Lee Fryberger and I got an early start and hiked up the headwaters of the South Platte
River, climbing Travers Peak at the head of the valley. We then started a ridge run over McNamee, Clinton, 13857 ft, and over to Wheeler Pk, 13690 ft. The interesting ridge got fun-fun-fun!, a little easier than Arapahoe Pk, going up to Wheeler. After Wheeler Lee F. headed back and I continued on to North Star. The ridge was tougher, like Jupiter, and I was unwisely on a ridiculous ledge at one spot.
