Ascent Trip Report

This is a challenging outing, mostly due to the tough scrambling terrain for the majority of the hike. Following the best route is also a challenge with intermittent cairns. Most of the time it is only a matter of better versus worse, but there is one major obstacle in the main channel that requires a relatively major diversion to the north.

At the top of the canyon, when the trail heads to the ridge, the trail is a bit loose and steep, but easy to follow. Once at the ridge the trail all but disappears. Fortunately the ridge is easy to follow.
