Ascent Trip ReportFinal day of our Thanksgiving 4,000+ ft peakbagging trip (Baboquivari, Miller, Wrightson, Chiricahua). Clear weather and we could easily make out all of these peaks. took a different path down at hospital flats off trail and found some very nice stands of Douglas fir that escaped the ax. Larger and wider in diameter than any I remember seeing in Utah anywhere. 5 inches of snow made it a little more of a challnge. Not really that great of views from the top itself, but you get it on the way. Saw 2 of the famous resident squirrels. I can see why the very top might be off limit in summer as the squirrels probably want to escape the heat and although much of the surrounding trees have burned and blown down, the top has not and this is a last refuge for them. Definitely not any up there on this windy cold day though.
