Ascent Trip ReportLee Fryberger & I went to Marble-Crystal-Lead King Basin and we found a camp at Geneva Lake.
On Sunday we headed over to climb Hagerman Pk., 13841 ft., from the south. The south face is very interesting. From the top of Hagerman we headed toward Snowmass Pk., a subpeak. The last drop into the notch was loose, steep and dangerous. I made it; Lee turned back, after kicking much rock down the narrow couloir I had just descended. I climbed up the steep, loose pitch to the of Snowmass Pk., 13620 ft. I then returned to the notch and descended the loose couloir below it. I caught up with Lee at the foot of the rock glacier.
