Ascent Trip ReportAnother segment of my semi-weekly hike before work with a friend. We arrived at the trailhead around 5am. Hoping to see the sunrise, we left around 5.15am. However the weather forecast stayed true to its prediction and it stayed overcast throughout our hike. So in no urgency to catch the sunrise, we got to the top around 8am to some pretty rough winds. There was just a hint of snow at the top. After a string of jogs down the mountain, we were at the trailhead by 10am. Just in time to plug into college football. |
