Ascent Trip Report

Coming off the USS NIMITZ, I booked a room at Viejas Hotel and Casino to get some relaxation and a bit closer to my next days destination, Cuyamaca peak. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to head up this peak, due to its proximity to the casino and the bit of sunlight remaining. I watched the sunset from close to the top, saw the cool rock pile at top (surprised no idiots have knocked it over), and hiked down by headlamp. Saw one couple coming down just as I started. city lights looked awesome from atop.
