Ascent Trip Report

Disappointing close to the day. Sure I has 1.500 feet of Prom but no views, clutter at the top and it is long hard haul. This was my second long hike of the day ( I grabbed Rattlesnake Ledge and the peak summit early) so I collected nearly 6000 feet of vertical and 18 miles for the entire day.

Trails were in good condition and if you are looking for solitude this is the place. But was not the most exciting slog just a day of good exercise and self-reflection. Then off the airport...taking an early flight back as Hurricane Matthew is heading for the homestead. Yikes!
