Ascent Trip ReportFarm road hike from south side.
The High Point is northwest of Brantford, east of county road #15 between Ayr and Paris. From the Brant-Waterloo road, south of Ayr, travel 1.7km south on #15 to Drumbo road, turn left (east) and drive 1km to a huge Cattle Farm Complex on the left ..... the mailbox at the driveway is numbered #861. The High Point is about 1km behind this farm to the north. We drove up the driveway, explained the reason for our presence to the Owner ...... he was well aware of the High Point's existance and informed us that the actual High Point was on his back neighbour's property ....... yes we could access his property. Rose stayed back in the car. A good gravel road thru beautiful cornfields heads towards the main summit ridge to within 150 meters on the High Point. The cross country hike to the summit is on a grass pasture.
