Halo Ridge Traverse: Notch Mountain variation (both sub peaks) and up the NE Slope (AG I / Class 3). This is Halo Ridge via Notch Mountain from Half Moon Pass for a full loop. 5,811 cumulative elevation car to car (others say 5,400) including Half Moon Pass approach & Notch Mt climb. 13 miles round trip. Solo

A fun and long traverse with intermittent hail & rain. Start to be off the ridge before dark.
