Ascent Trip Report

I figured bagging two big county high points in one day wouldn't be so tough, and it wasn't, but forgetting a flashlight may have been a mistake. The high itself was uneventful. The views were great, the trail was pretty good. On the way down it got dark, which made the descent tough in places. I couldn't see roots or rocks, which was a little dangerous. Towards the bottom the city lights blinded me further, taking away my night vision, so I saw even less. But, you know, I still made it. Barely in time to get out of the parking lot before the gate got locked. That would have been a rough finish to the day.
