Ascent Trip ReportI loved this hike. Views, wildlife, sunrise, geology. What more could you ask for? Water? Who needs it! Towards the top the trail becomes a little difficult to follow. Only advice would be try to stick to the ridge, even if it doesn't make sense. We stayed low at one point and ended up on a giant scree slope that sent rocks hurdling hundreds of feet below us. Nasty shale stuff too.
