Ascent of Dragontail Peak on 2016-09-15
|Date:||Thursday, September 15, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||8840 ft / 2694 m|
Ascent Trip ReportFrom camp at Inspiration Lake, long traverse over SE ridge from N slope of Little Annapurna. Plenty of snow left, but it's easy to avoid by detouring on rock. Only had to cross one small snow field on Little A by kicking steps, microspikes not necessary. Route up the ridge to summit is mostly well-marked by cairns/bootpath. Descended the same way. 3.5hrs up, 2hrs down.
