Ascent of McClellan Peak on 2016-09-11
|Date:||Sunday, September 11, 2016|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||8364 ft / 2549 m|
Ascent Trip ReportOne day trip in the Enchantments. Started from the beginning of the dirt road as I was planning to do the thru-hike. But ended up going back the same way to get more miles and tag Little Annapurna the same day.
The scramble up to McClellan is easy. Not much to say. I had to use my ice axe once on the way down to cross a really short snow field. No crampons used.
