Ascent Trip Report This was a private hike with George Christiansen and Pat Arredondo. George and Pat need Copter for their HPS list. I was along for the hike. We started in the usual spot for this hike. There is a steep ridge that starts at mm 67.6 and goes up to the PCT. Near the PCT we ran into a problem with brush. There use to be a good trail through the brush, but it seems to be over grown. From the PCT, we headed east to the use trail up the east ridge to Hawkins. From Hawkins, we follow the ridge southeast down to Copter. There is a use trail going down. It is vague in spots, but the ridge is easy to follow. We returned the same way. On the way down from the PCT, we went slightly to the right (east) of the brush. This worked out a lot better. There were no registers or BM on either peak.
After Hawkins and Copter, we did a drive up to Peak 7547. There are some towers on the top, but no register or BM.
